Active Norfolk Summer Holiday Fun Days

Each morning, participants will dive into an exciting mix of circus skills—imagine games, juggling, trapeze, silks, tight wire, hula hoops, pyramids, and handstands! Activities will vary slightly from day to day, making it a great choice for those attending multiple sessions.

Alongside circus skills, we’ll include group games and creative activities to help participants connect, make new friends, and build confidence in a relaxed and supportive environment. Circus is a brilliant way to stay active over the summer, while improving balance, coordination, strength, and flexibility. More than just physical exercise, it sparks creativity, encourages teamwork, and gives kids a fantastic confidence boost.

Funded places will include a free, nutritious lunch, and those booking paid places can add lunch as an optional extra. Please let us know about any dietary requirements in advance so we can accommodate them.

Who Can Join?

This summer, we’re running sessions for two age groups:

• Children aged 5 to 9 years can join morning sessions on Mondays (excluding the bank holiday), Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

• Young people aged 10 to 16 years are invited to afternoon sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

All skill levels are welcome! Our experienced tutors create a safe, supportive environment where everyone can get involved and enjoy themselves. If your child has any additional needs, please let us know in advance so we can ensure the right support and staffing are in place.

We’re also running SEND-specific sessions twice a week, which may be more suitable for some participants.

A number of funded places are available through the Big Norfolk Holiday Fun programme for children eligible for means-tested free school meals. If you’re unsure whether your child qualifies, please check the FAQs on their website. Eligible children can attend up to 16 free sessions over the summer.

For those not eligible for funded places, we also offer a limited number of paid places – these tend to book quickly, so we recommend securing your spot early!

All Access Arts: SEND Holiday Activities at The Oak Circus Centre

This summer, join us for fun, inclusive sessions designed especially for children and young people with SEND. With small groups and a flexible approach, we adapt to each child’s needs so they can join in at their own pace.

In partnership with local arts experts, we’ll explore circus skills like trapeze, juggling, hula hoops, hammock, trampette, and slackline—plus theatre games, movement fun, and creative visual arts.

Who Can Join?
Open to ages 6–16 with SEND, these sessions are free for those eligible for benefits-related free school meals through the Big Norfolk Holiday Fun programme.

Parents, carers, and siblings are welcome to stay or drop off. A nutritious meal is included – please let us know any dietary needs when booking.
