Terms & Conditions
Classes & Tuition
If you are booking a class at The Oak Circus Centre, here you will find our Terms & Conditions.
General
- Fees are to be paid in advance – this can be on the same day but must be before joining the class.
- Bookings are for the named individual and are not transferable.
Booking a course
- Courses and single classes must be booked and paid in advance. No payment will be processed in person at the premises. Classes must be booked and paid for via our website at www.theoakcircuscentre.org.
- All courses are available via direct debit "Go Cardless" as well. You can book this as a ticket on our website and we will get in touch with you to arrange setting it up. Direct Debit payments have a 10% discount.
- Email info@oakcircuscentre.org if you have any queries regarding payments or bookings.
Single Sessions
- Single sessions MUST be booked in advance via the website.
- Single sessions are not available for Youth Circus (except for ‘Try Out’ session – see below Youth Circus).
- If a single session has not been booked in advance, The Oak Circus Centre will refuse admission if the correct student to tutor ratio cannot be maintained.
Youth Circus
- This includes Acorns, Saplings, Oaks, Monday and Wednesday youth circus and Home Eduction classes.
- Youth Circus is ONLY available by booking the course. This is to ensure consistent classes, learning and progression. However, customers may ‘try out’ the first session of any course and still take advantage of the reduced rate for the course. The ‘taster’ session must be booked and paid as a "single session" first. If the child wishes to continue, then the reduced rate for that course will apply and the balance due should be paid before commencing the second session.
C.A.N. COURSES
- Are by invitation or audition only.
Tots and SEN Classes
Tots and SEN classes can be booked by Single Sessions or by course, due to the nature of the participants and the class structure.
New Students Registration
All students are required to complete and sign a registration form. These are attached to confirmation emails and may be printed and completed before bringing to the centre. Forms are also available at the Oak Circus Centre. Parents or guardians are required to sign for any students under the age of 18 years.
Arrival Time
To allow sufficient time to complete any registration or payments, we ask students to arrive at least 15 minutes before the starting time of the class.
Medical conditions, injuries and other issues
It is the student’s responsibility to inform the tutor of any relevant health conditions or anything else that was not disclosed on the original registration form.
Transfer
Students wishing to transfer to an alternative course may do so subject to availability. If the preferred course is at a higher price than the original, then the balance must be paid before commencing. No refunds will be given for transferring to a lower priced course.
