Hi, I’m Laurence!

I am offering treatments from my room at The Oak Circus Centre!

I am a Yoga instructor and massage therapist, I teach Hatha & Power Yoga, give guided Yoga Nidra meditations and offer Indian Ayurvedic Yoga Massage treatments.

It is my experience that a regular yoga and meditation practice can help develop your physical strength and flexibility, as well as improve concentration, reduce stress and generally help you feel more confident and happy within your life.

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage was developed in India, by master Kusum Modak. She combined her knowledge of Ayurvedic Massage techniques and yoga postures to create a treatment that is both a relaxing deep tissue massage and an invigorating yoga lesson where your muscles are gently and safely stretched by the therapist. Combining these unique deep tissue and physical manipulation techniques means that a treatment will work to relax and release tension from your muscles, bring your body into correct physical alignment, improve your flexibility and give you complete physical and mental relaxation.

 

 

Hi, I’m Laurence. An experienced yoga instructor and massage therapist currently based in Sudbury & Norwich. I teach Hatha & Power Yoga, give guided Yoga Nidra meditations and offer Indian Ayurvedic Yoga Massage treatments.

 

I have been teaching yoga for 6 years and now currently split my time between The UK and India where I regularly return to continue my education and training. My focus is on relaxation, understanding, and play.

 

It is my experience that a regular yoga and meditation practice can help develop your physical strength and flexibility, as well as improve concentration, reduce stress and generally help you feel more confident and happy within your life.

 

For beginners I teach Hatha Yoga with a focus on holding each posture with correct alignment and introducing some of the more simple dynamic movements that are available. My more advanced students will be encouraged to take on challenging sequences and postures to encourage the development of strength as well as improving flexibility.

 

I like to keep my lessons fun and informal and am very relaxed in my approach to teaching however I will encourage you to work hard, sweat and push yourself to challenge your expectations of what you think is possible. The structure of my lessons is usually the same each week as I know that repetition is a great way to learn and improve.

 

I am very happy to be working with Oak Circus. Having spent many years attending various juggling and circus festivals in the U.K. and India and being a keen amateur juggler & poi spinner myself it is a joy to be amongst so many like minded spirits. I have true admiration of the level of skill and dedication that performers have for their art and I look forward to being able to offer my services to the circus community.
