Learning this discipline will provide students with a solid foundation and understanding of acrobatic techniques. Poise and strength gained from this essential skill is used throughout all other floor and aerial disciplines.
The core focus for acrobatics is to learn tumbling and gymnastic movements, this to build your strength and control. This is done by practicing skills and sequences on the floor and mini-tramp.
You will also have the opportunity to work on the air track and trampoline to improve your coordination and spatial awareness and to enable you to work on progressing through the acrobatic techniques in a safe and controlled way.
This course includes our Acro Conditioning class as a warm up beforehand: an intense one-hour fitness class with a difference, using circus disciplines and equipment to increase stamina and strength.
Open to all abilities, including complete beginners. Our experienced tutors can work to the level of all those in the group.
